FAQ: Services and Fees

Do you Accept Insurance?

Woven Within Therapy does not take insurance directly, but we are able to offer you an itemized bill (often referred to as a “superbill”) after your session has been paid for up front. You can submit this directly to your insurance company and depending on your coverage, they may be able to reimburse a percentage of the session fee to you directly. Please note that not all insurance plans offer out of network benefits, and this should be determined before the start of services. Please reach out with further questions through the “get started with therapy” button at the top right of this page.

What is the PA Victim’s Compensation Assistance Program?

Woven Within Therapy, LLC is a registered provider with the Pennsylvania Victim’s Compensation Assistance Program. This program offers financial support to help pay for therapy for victim’s of crime. Survivors of sexual assault are not required to have reported the incident, and are often eligible for $5,000- $10,000 towards therapy, depending on if the crime occurred in childhood or adulthood. You can find more information here, and the application here. Please reach out if you have further questions or are interested in learning more!

Cost of Services

The cost of a therapy session with Makenzie Pacocha, MSW, LCSW is $165/50 minutes. A family or couples session is $185/50 minutes. If this is not feasible for you at this time, please see information about the PA Victim’s Compensation Assistance Program listed above to see if you may qualify.

Do you provide in-person or virtual sessions?

All sessions are held either in person at our Philadelphia office, or through telehealth. Makenzie is clinically licensed in PA and NJ, and is a certified telehealth provider in DE. Please note that you must be in one of the above states when services are being provided.

Why don’t we take insurance?

Insurance companies often put a limit on the amount of sessions, and type of treatment that they will pay for. We believe that therapy is most effective when it can be individualized to your needs, meaning that there is no time limit or restrictions. Insurance companies typically do not adequately reimburse therapists for their services, making it difficult to provide quality care. Being an out of network provider gives me the opportunity to prioritize your care, create a warm and comfortable environment for us to be together in, and receive continuous training.
